Along the arbor did I walk, the long brown path beckoning, leading me away, or to, I did not know. The course a solid comfort, the trellis above it blocked my view, of sky freedom and air. The sides, a dichotomy, one of living growth, the other an urban jungle of uncertainty. I stayed my course to an unknown end, choosing the safest route to my sanity at large.
Photography to me is the method in which I reflect my current environment most effectively. It is ever changing so I am forever adapting and interpreting. I am as comfortable capturing the environment of nature and the outdoors of the great American West as I am the architecture and street life of a big city like San Francisco. Color or black and white photography are just the mediums my instincts dictate in any given moment. The ability to adapt and reflect equally in any environment through my camera lens is a gift, an instinct I cannot effectively explain.
